She really had fun being a chocolatier, using all the different shaped candy molds and trying a mix of colors and concoctions. The chocolate stand looked like something you’d see in a Jacques Torres candy store when we filled it with all the beautiful creations! Perfect for a party with her friends!

The kit also comes with tons of stickers, foil, cello-bags, gift boxes and ribbon to decorate the chocolates as Valentine’s Day gifts for friends and teachers at school! And the best part is the molds can be used over and over again; just rinse with warm water and soap. All you need to do is buy more chocolate to melt, yummmm!

Valentine’s treats from the kitchen are our favorite! Do you have a favorite kid’s treat for Valentine’s Day?

Today’s guest blogger is Shana, a keen crafter, mac & cheese maker, boo-boo kisser and a big kid at heart! After college, she landed her dream job designing toys, creating fun products for boys and girls. We’re fortunate to have her share her creative ideas on the ALEX blog!

  1. And who wouldn’t enjoy making their own chocolate? Whenever I have chocolate in the house, it never stays hidden for long. I think we’re all chocaholics!
